RippleX has shifted the XRP Ledger toward a proactive security model. The team now integrates AI tools across code reviews, threat modeling, and adversarial testing. As a result, engineers test new features before production release. They simulate attack scenarios and stress conditions at scale. This process identifies weaknesses early and reduces live network risk.
XRPL validator Vet confirmed the development on X. He described it as “next level security for XRP for the next level of adoption.” His statement underscored the focus on stronger safeguards. Meanwhile, Ayo Akinyele, Head of Engineering at RippleX, outlined the operational changes. He said the system now runs continuous attack simulations across the codebase.
The dedicated red team probes both legacy and new features. It evaluates how components interact under stress conditions. Early internal findings have identified more than 10 bugs. However, engineers have disclosed only low-severity issues publicly. Akinyele stated that teams are addressing all findings through ongoing updates.
RippleX has also tightened standards for future XRP Ledger amendments. Developers now require multiple independent audits before approving major upgrades. The team has introduced stricter internal testing benchmarks for every proposal. Community-driven bug bounties and hacking events will support the review process. These measures aim to improve code clarity and consistency.
The XRP Ledger has operated since 2012 and has processed over 3 billion transactions. It has closed more than 100 million ledgers while securing billions of dollars in value. Akinyele said the objective remains consistent system reliability. He stated that engineers want to keep transactions fast and cost-efficient.
