Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche was on the receiving end of a tongue-lashing on MS NOW on Wednesday morning for holding a press conference to announce criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey for posting a picture of seashells that the DOJ maintains was a threat to Donald Trump.
According to Blanche, the photo of shells spelling out “8647” was an implicit threat to the president's life, adding, “This is something that has been investigated for nearly a year now, and the results of that investigation is that a grand jury returned an indictment."

The “Morning Joe” panel laughed off the indictment, with co-host Joe Scarborough claiming it is just another one of the DOJ’s “distractions” before co-host Willie Geist cut to the chase.
“Just the abject waste of time to have the acting attorney general, the head of the FBI, investigating this, holding press conferences,” he remarked with disgust.
“Go work on the Epstein files,” he advised. “Go get after the important things that are happening in this country. It's just — it's preposterous.”
"Thank you,“ co-host Mika Brzezinski chimed in.
