WHY THIS MATTERS
The partnership between Volt and YouHodler highlights the growing convergence between real-time payments infrastructure and crypto platforms. As digital asset users expect instant deposits and withdrawals to act quickly on market opportunities, traditional banking rails can struggle to keep pace. By integrating Volt’s real-time account-to-account payment technology, YouHodler can offer EU customers faster top-ups and payouts while simplifying back-end operations through tools such as Virtual IBANs (vIBANs) for automated reconciliation.

This collaboration also reflects the broader evolution of open banking in Europe. With the EU’s Instant Payments Regulation accelerating the rollout of SEPA Instant, real-time account-to-account payments are increasingly becoming a core piece of financial infrastructure rather than just a regulatory initiative. For crypto platforms operating in Europe, integrating real-time rails can help deliver the speed, reliability and compliance required to scale across multiple markets.

Volt, the global real-time payments platform, today announces its new partnership with YouHodler, a Web3 fintech bridging crypto and traditional finance.

The partnership is now live across the EU, enabling YouHodler to offer customers a faster, more localised experience when moving money in and out of the platform. Through Volt, YouHodler users can complete real-time account top-ups and initiate real-time payouts, supported by localised checkout experiences in English, French, German and Italian.

Volt is powering this integration to meet the demands crypto platforms face every day: always-on user activity, high expectations for speed, and the need to reduce operational friction without compromising control. In addition to real-time payments, YouHodler is leveraging Volt’s cash management capabilities – including Virtual IBANs (vIBANs) – to help simplify reconciliation by mapping deposits to specific users.

Commenting on the partnership, Ilya Volkov, CEO and Co-founder of YouHodler, said: “Our users, who want to act quickly on market opportunities, expect their money to move instantly – regardless of their location. Volt gives us a real-time payments layer built for this expectation. With localised checkouts and streamlined reconciliation, we’re able to improve the user experience while making our operations more scalable across the EU.”

Steffen Vollert, Volt’s Co-founder and CEO, added: “Crypto has raised the bar for what ‘good’ looks like in money movement: instant, always-on, and borderless by default. That’s exactly why real-time account-to-account payments are such a natural fit for crypto platforms – and why we’re excited to partner with YouHodler as they scale across Europe. This is a great example of real-time rails doing what they do best: helping modern financial platforms deliver speed, control and a better experience end-to-end.”

The partnership comes as open banking in Europe enters a new phase of maturity. With the EU’s Instant Payments Regulation mandating SEPA Instant and accelerating pan-European A2A adoption, open banking has shifted from regulatory initiative to core payments infrastructure. In this environment, integrating resilient, real-time payment rails is increasingly essential to meeting user expectations and supporting compliant growth across the EU.

FF NEWS TAKE
Crypto platforms are raising the bar for payment expectations, pushing financial infrastructure toward instant, always-on money movement.

Partnerships like this show how open banking providers and real-time payment platforms are becoming essential bridges between traditional finance and digital assets. As SEPA Instant adoption expands across Europe, the ability to move funds instantly between bank accounts and crypto platforms could become a standard feature rather than a competitive advantage.

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

The post Cryptos Signal Divergence Ahead of Fed Rate Decision appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto assets send conflicting signals ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September rate decision. On-chain data reveals a clear decrease in Bitcoin and Ethereum flowing into centralized exchanges, but a sharp increase in altcoin inflows. The findings come from a Tuesday report by CryptoQuant, an on-chain data platform. The firm’s data shows a stark divergence in coin volume, which has been observed in movements onto centralized exchanges over the past few weeks. Bitcoin and Ethereum Inflows Drop to Multi-Month Lows Sponsored Sponsored Bitcoin has seen a dramatic drop in exchange inflows, with the 7-day moving average plummeting to 25,000 BTC, its lowest level in over a year. The average deposit per transaction has fallen to 0.57 BTC as of September. This suggests that smaller retail investors, rather than large-scale whales, are responsible for the recent cash-outs. Ethereum is showing a similar trend, with its daily exchange inflows decreasing to a two-month low. CryptoQuant reported that the 7-day moving average for ETH deposits on exchanges is around 783,000 ETH, the lowest in two months. Other Altcoins See Renewed Selling Pressure In contrast, other altcoin deposit activity on exchanges has surged. The number of altcoin deposit transactions on centralized exchanges was quite steady in May and June of this year, maintaining a 7-day moving average of about 20,000 to 30,000. Recently, however, that figure has jumped to 55,000 transactions. Altcoins: Exchange Inflow Transaction Count. Source: CryptoQuant CryptoQuant projects that altcoins, given their increased inflow activity, could face relatively higher selling pressure compared to BTC and ETH. Meanwhile, the balance of stablecoins on exchanges—a key indicator of potential buying pressure—has increased significantly. The report notes that the exchange USDT balance, around $273 million in April, grew to $379 million by August 31, marking a new yearly high. CryptoQuant interprets this surge as a reflection of…
