Amidst public debate in Turkey regarding regulations on the taxation of crypto assets, the DEVA Party has issued a noteworthy statement. DEVA Party Deputy Chairman Sadullah Kısacık stated that claims circulating on social media about tax regulations do not reflect the truth.

Kısacık stated in his açıklama that the draft law regarding the taxation of crypto assets was the first text shared, and that the articles in question were outdated. He noted that the government had withdrawn the relevant sections of the proposal, and that these articles had not been discussed in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Furthermore, Kısacık stated that as members of the Planning and Budget Committee, they had not been presented with any new draft bill, and pointed out that the current discussions were being conducted based on old texts.
