MAGA is questioning whether Trump’s biggest moments were faked

During the 2024 campaign, President Donald Trump was targeted by a man in Butler County, Pennsylvania, but now his own supporters are starting to question if the incident was real or if it was staged.

As MAGA continues to turn against Trump over the war in Iran, they told CNN's Donie O'Sullivan that they are starting to question everything.

"Some liberals have long dabbled in conspiracy theories about the Trump assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania," O'Sullivan reported.

"The first thing that ran through my head is because we cannot believe this man, ever, that it was somehow fake," said an anti-Trump supporter.

After the incident, they were quick to say that they believe it was faked. Now, O'Sullivan reports, they aren't as certain.

"I don't know. It's not impossible," said one woman. "Because we've been lied to over and over by this man. The way he came up and raised his fist and acted like it was nothing."

Now, right-wing stars are questioning it, too

Comedian Tim Dillon demanded on his show that Trump should come out and make it clear that he staged everything.

"People do crazy things in a campaign," Dillon said.

This really picked up when far-right host Tucker Carlson had former Trump intelligence official Joe Kent on his show. According to Kent, "We still really don't know what happened in Butler. We don't know what happened with Charlie Kirk."

"But I'm saying there are a lot of unanswered questions there," said Kent.

Trisha Hope was a delegate for Trump in Texas, but now she has doubts and she's been speaking out about it.

Since the attempt on his life, Trump has shown no interest in investigating what really happened. "He never mentioned it, it's as if it never happened, except when he tells us, he took a bullet for us," she wrote.

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) wrote on X that she didn't think it was a hoax, but stated there are many questions.
