Security remains tight at Mactan Expo in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu as preparations are under way for the hosting of the 48th ASEAN Leaders’ Summit beginning this week.
The summit, running on a streamlined schedule, will see various heads of state across Southeast Asian nations, led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., and will converge in Cebu to discuss different topics aimed at strengthening collaboration and cooperation among ASEAN member countries, in this brand new convention center that has close access to the beach.
