Folks Finance has reached a major growth milestone by passing the mark of 10 million in the overall value locked on the Monad blockchain. The milestone indicates high user engagement in the cross-chain feature of the platform and excellent yield returns on FOLKS tokens on the high-performance Layer 1 network of Monad.

Users observe this milestone as Folks Finance continues to establish itself as a significant presence in the cross-chain DeFi scene.

The existence of the platform in Monad is what indicates the increasing popularity of the blockchain among developers and users who want to find an alternative to the traditional networks.

The highly developed architecture of Monad, such as parallel executions and the capability of completing up to 10,000 transactions per second, has the features needed to facilitate strong DeFi applications with little or no congestion or delays.

High Yields Attracting Users to Monad

The increase in the TVL of Folks Finance on Monad is mostly fuelled by high persuasive yield opportunities being run using the FOLKS token bonuses. Such rewards are among the highest yields to date on the Monad blockchain, which brings yield obsessed users and liquidity providers to the platform.

The bonus system has been especially successful in enabling activity in the USDT0 market. The USDT0 of Folks Finance has already become the largest of this chain, which points to the fact that the users seem to place a particular value on such a combination of the USDT0 liquidity and impressive yields offered by Folks Finance.

The liquidity of the USDT0 market demonstrates that there is an increase in the need for stablecoin infrastructure in various blockchains.

USDT0 is a single liquidity protocol that transports the assets of Tether as a stablecoin to well-known blockchains and establishes a bridge to the seamless transfer of stable value across multiple networks without the cross-chain complexity of traditional cross-chain usage.

Folks Finance: Leading Cross-Chain DeFi Features

Folks Finance is a leader within the cross-chain decentralized finance sector, providing customers with a full range of financial services across various blockchains. It allows people to lend, borrow, stake, and trade assets and still have unified liquidity pools, which are interoperable across multiple networks.

This combined liquidity strategy eliminates the fragmentation that typically affects multi-chain DeFi platforms, where liquidity is dispersed across various pools with differing yields and liquidity depths.

Consolidation of the liquidity in Folks Finance would enable the users to have access to greater markets, reduced slippage, and a better deployment of capital in their financial activity.

Building on Monad’s Performance Edge

The infrastructure that is provided by Monad has been critical in promoting the growth goals of Folks Finance.

The parallel execution technology embedded in the blockchain enables transactions to be undertaken in parallel and not sequentially, enhancing throughput significantly whilst not compromising the security.

This architectural benefit gives a direct benefit to improved user experience with improved transactions and a reduction in congestion fees.

Both Folks Finance and Monad in numerous ways have been proved correct by the TVL success of their initial chart on Monad in the amount of $10 million, which indicates that the chain strategy works, and Monad is capable of drawing significant DeFi activity.

As the platform keeps developing its business and increasing incentive schemes, it seems like future growth is expected, so Folks Finance will be a key building block of the new DeFi landscape made by Monad.

Bitcoin ETFs Record Strongest Inflows Since July, Push Holdings to New High

The post Bitcoin ETFs Record Strongest Inflows Since July, Push Holdings to New High appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In brief Bitcoin ETPs saw a net inflow of 20,685 BTC last week, driven mostly by U.S. ETFs. The recent uptick in investor risk appetite is driven by rate cut expectations and new crypto IPOs. Despite institutional demand outpacing new Bitcoin supply, realized and implied volatility remain historically low. Bitcoin exchange-traded products globally logged net inflows of 20,685 BTC last week, the strongest weekly intake since July 22, according to digital assets firm K33 Research. The renewed momentum lifted U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs’ combined holdings to 1.32 million BTC, surpassing the previous peak set on July 30. U.S. Bitcoin ETF products contributed nearly 97% of last week’s 20,685 BTC ETP inflows, highlighting the surge in demand ahead of the FOMC meeting.  Bitcoin ETF inflows “tend to be one of the key determinants of Bitcoin’s performance,” André Dragosch, head of research for Europe at Bitwise Investments, told Decrypt, adding that the “percentage share of Bitcoin’s performance explained by changes in ETP flows” has reached a new all-time high. Compared with Ethereum ETF flows, “there appears to be a ‘re-rotation’ from Ethereum back to Bitcoin in terms of investor flows,” Dragosch said, citing their data. “Over the past week, flows into Bitcoin ETFs have surpassed new supply growth by a factor of 8.93 times, a key tailwind for Bitcoin’s recent performance.” Analysts at K33 agree, writing that flows have been a key driver of bitcoin’s strength since ETF approvals earlier last year, and the latest surge signals an acceleration in demand that could underpin further price support. In the last 30 days, investors accumulated roughly 22,853 BTC via various products, outpacing the new supply of 14,056 BTC. This rising risk appetite for Bitcoin has supported the recent recovery, Bitwise noted in its Monday report. Fidelity’s FBTC product accounted for a substantial…
