PANews reported on December 11th that, according to Cointelegraph, Sygnum's "Asia Pacific High Net Worth Individuals Report 2025" found that, based on strong expectations for the next two to five years, 60% of surveyed high net worth individuals in Asia are prepared to increase their cryptocurrency holdings. The survey targeted 270 high net worth individuals (with investable assets exceeding US$1 million) and professional investors with over ten years of experience from ten Asia Pacific countries.
The survey results also show that the vast majority (90%) of high-net-worth individuals surveyed believe that digital assets "are of great significance for long-term wealth preservation and estate planning, and are not purely speculative." 87% of the surveyed Asian high-net-worth individuals already hold cryptocurrencies, with about half having an allocation exceeding 10%, and an average portfolio allocation of approximately 17%. 87% of investors also indicated that if cryptocurrency services were offered through regulated partners, they would request their private banks or financial advisors to add such services. Meanwhile, 80% of active investors reported holding blockchain protocol tokens such as BTC, ETH, and SOL. According to 56% of respondents, the most common reason for investing was portfolio diversification.
